Author Guidelines

 

The Editorial Board has established a set of rules and conditions for accepting and publishing research, as follows:

General Conditions

  • The research must be original, objective, and methodologically sound, and must not have been previously published or submitted for publication in another journal.
  • All submitted research is subject to peer review by specialists with expertise and distinguished academic standing.
  • The author will be notified of the decision on their research's suitability for publication as soon as possible.
  • Research will not be published until the revisions required by the reviewers are made, and the final version must be submitted within 15 days.
  • The opinions expressed in the published materials are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the journal.

Formatting Requirements

  • Page Size and Margins: All page margins (top, bottom, right, left) must be 3 cm, with single line spacing.
  • Font Size and Type:
    • For Arabic Research: Font: Simplified Arabic, size 13 for the body and 16 for the title.
    • For English Research: Font: Times New Roman, size 11 for the body and 16 for the title.
  • Abstract: Must be written in both Arabic and English for all research, with font size 12 and a maximum of 200 words.
  • Keywords: A maximum of five keywords not present in the title, written in font size 10 below the abstract.
  • Page Count: Should not exceed 30 pages for humanistic research and 15 pages for applied sciences, including tables and references.
  • Tables and Figures: Numbered according to their appearance in the research. The table title is placed above the table, and the figure caption is placed below the figure. Font size is 11 for Arabic and 10 for English.

Citations and References

  • In-text Citation: Citations are made by mentioning the author's last name, year of publication, and page number (Example: Al-Saleh, 2010, p. 130).
  • Reference List: Arranged alphabetically by the author's name, followed by the year, research title, journal name, volume number, and page numbers. For books, include the publisher and place of publication.

Submission Requirements

  • Three hard copies of the research (A4) must be submitted with 1.5 line spacing.
  • An electronic version of the research in Word and PDF format must be attached on a CD.
  • A brief curriculum vitae (CV) of the author must be attached.

Other Content

  • The journal welcomes the publication of summaries of approved university theses (maximum 5 pages), book reviews, and summaries of conferences and seminars.

Publication Fees

Publication fees vary based on the author's affiliation:

  • From within Civilization University:
    • Researchers, postgraduate students, and university professors: 15,000 YER.
  • From outside Civilization University:
    • Researchers, postgraduate students, and professors from other Yemeni universities: 25,000 YER.
    • Researchers, postgraduate students, and professors from outside Yemen: 150 USD.
