This study aims to clarify the concept of the palm of Sibawayh and all the blind tools and their implications, and the position of modern Arab linguists on them.
The nature of the study necessitated that it be of three demands: The first requirement: under the title: Cessation from the act of lifting and clarify in it the words mentioned by Sibaih that stop the work of lifting and the opinions of the modern linguists in it.

opinions of the linguists who spoke about it.
The title of the third demand was: Cessation of the act of traction: I presented in this requirement a sebaway approach, and the opinions of modern linguists on it.
- Some Arab linguists disagreed with what some Sibawayh did from the palm of (what) because and its sisters where (what) was considered a simple signifying element among them Yaqoub Bakr, and some modern linguists disagreed with them in rooting and parsing (but) like Khalil Amayrah in its originality, he thinks that it is a single linguistic block.
