Abstract

This study has attempted to  explore the possibility of a modern reading of the structural, lexical and musical styles of one of the Quranic stories ( that is the story of Adam's sons , verse 27, Al-ma'eda Sura) with a view to revealing its semanticity and showing the miraculous Queanic style in that story.

The study concludes that the Quranic expression is so precise in this story. It has made use of all potentials to deliver the intended meaning. It has made precise use of the image,  the word selection,  and the linguistic to help the reader receive a crystal clear picture of the meaning of the story as well as to leave a very strong impression in the reader's mind.
