This study aims to understand the situation in Andalusia during the Almoravid period, and how the Taifa Kings sought help from Prince Yusuf ibn Tashfin, leader of the Almoravid state.

The Almoravid embassy to Alfonso VI, King of Castile, and the resulting embassies and treaties contributed to changing the balance of power in Andalusia.

After this, Prince Yusuf ibn Tashfin was able to protect some Andalusian cities from falling into the hands of the Christian kings.

The study concludes the following:

The prominent and important role of the Taifa Kings in disrupting the demographic and political map of Andalusia.

The elimination of the Taifa Kings by the Almoravid leader after their betrayal.
